Hi, Rich -

I don't see an Elliott Davis Kurtz in my files, but my gg aunt Lora Poston lived and died and married a Peter Kurtz, right over the county line in Wapello Co. It looks like they lost a lot of children in infancy (sad) but I see a number of gaps in the kids and perhaps a son survived long enough to be father or grandfather to your Elliott....or perhaps at least some relation. Family Group sheet for what I have is below.
