Effa Swift b. 1879

SWIFT, OHARA, BAKER

Searching for information about Effa Swift born about 1879 to James and Flora Ann (O'Harra) SWIFT. She is found in the 1880 cenus living with the Hiram BAKER family of Bentensport as a one year old "ward". What happened to her parents? I can't find them in any of the cemetery records on line, so wonder if they died somewhere else or took off for California or who knows where. Any help greatly appreciated
