William H. Monroe of Van Buren Co. Ia. was born on Feb. 20, 1839 in Blackwood Town, New Jersey. He died Aug. 14, 1919 in Keokuk, Ia. He married Susannah McCormick b. 1843 in Indiana on May 4, 1862. I am looking for the names of his parents. Also, I need to know where Susannah was buried for sure. Would like to hear from ancestors of these surnames. William and Susannah's son, George W. Monroe was my grandfather and moved from Keosauqua, Ia. to Cottonwood Falls, Ks. around 1903.He was married to Ida Miner. All these surnames lived in and around Keosauqua, Vernon and Bentonsport area.
