WATKINS, PHILLIPS

Does anyone have information on John Findley Watkins and/or wife Phylura/Lura Phillips? They owned a large amount of land in Des Moines and Vernon Twps from around 1868 through about 1909...and had one son David P. who survived to adulthood. David and his mother Phylura inherited the land upon the death of John F., who died June 28, 1886. Lura later married George DeHart.
