I don't have the obits, but I have the inscription booklet for Sunnyside Cemetery just outside of Milton in Jackson Township, Van Buren County, Iowa (no tie to Keokuk). I quote this verbatim from the booklet:

CHENEY, Harold (28 Jan 1900 - 8 Oct 1983) - Notation: "From obit -- metal marker - all that remains 1900 - Priester Service"

CHENEY, Ruth - Maiden Name COX (6 Apr 1905 - 4 Aug 1977) - Notation: "From obit - no marker"

The notations are a bit odd - and obviously it sounds like the obits would be much more helpful. All just FYI. I am not related.
