Info about Robert Harlan Morris from Stockport

My name is Azul Morris and I live in Mexico City. I'm searching for information about my father, Robert Harlan Morris. He was born the 12th of January 1925 (I believe), in Miami, Florida. His father was Harlan Ralph Morris and his mother Rachel Katherine Henderson. I know of only one sister Marjorie, whose oldest son was serving in the Armed Forces in 1954. My grandparents lived in Stockport, Iowa, except for winters, which they spent in Florida, which explains why my father Robert was born in Miami. My father met my mother in Mexico City and they were married there in 1953. Soon after my sister Mayra and I were born. We had a correspondence with our grandparents from Stockport. I have copies of these letters plus the original marriage certificate and only one photograph of my father.
Then one day our father went out to buy cigarettes and never came back. We have had no information about him since. I have been longing to know more about this man I never knew and whose genes and name I carry. Of course I have no idea if he still lives (he would be 86) or if he has died.
I have learned from a story from the Van Buren Country Historical Society that the original settlers of Stockport were Henry and Jane Morris who had 8 children. There were many other Morris family members mentioned, also members of the Harlan family. Because the town is quite small, I am hoping that there may be someone there who remembers my grandparents or perhaps even my father. I will be immensely grateful for an answer from anyone who can help me.Yours truly,
