McLean Family

MCLEAN, MORRON, CASSADY, BRUCE

Andrew Allen McLean was (I believe) a brother of my great, great, great grandmother, Jean McLean Morron.

He settled on a farm 6 miles south of Keosauqua in, known as the Brooks Farm. In 1871 he started a mercantile business in Milton. He died on Oct. 29, 1885 but his son, Samuel Littell McLean took over the business. Children married into the Marsan, Cassady, and Bruce families from that area. I am looking for any other information, if you happen to know anything. Do I still have ancestors living in the area? Is the farm still there? Is the Mercantile business still there?
