Two obituaries posted by Karen DePra have been very helpful. The obit of Anna Marie Spohnheirmer enabled me to find my ggrandfather, Oscar Roberts. It indicated that his son with the name B.F. Roberts went by the name Frank, not Benjamin. With that information I was able to find Oscar's Individual Record. The Mary Ann Dille Roberts obit provided the names of Oscar's parents, Benjamin and Lois, and that they came to Iowa in 1843. I have not been able to find any info on the parents; for example, did they finish out their lives in Iowa. Any info about them would be gratefully appreciated.
