Clinton Ernest Huff, III, 58, of Conroe, TX, formerly of Bonaparte, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004 in Conroe. He was born Feb. 25, 1945 in Keokuk to Clinton, Jr. and E$ula Marmion Huff. He grew up on the family farm near Bonaparte, attended Bonaparte school, was a member of the first graduation class from Harmony High School in 1963, and attended Northeast Missouri State University, Kirksville. He had lived many years in Texas where he was employed by Nation's Equipment Rental Co.
Surviving are a daughter, Carrie Spain and husband, Pat of Polk City, IA, a son, Clinton Huff, IV, of Conroe, his father and step-mother, Clinton, Jr. and Lorraine Jannings Huff of Milton, a sister, Patty Moore of Brookings, S.D., a brother, Wayne Huff of Laurel, MT, grandchldren, Josh and Jordan Spain, other relatives and friends. His mother preceded him in death.
The body has been cremated and memorial services were held Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Rev. Ellis Andrews officiated.
