Benjamin George is the father of Nancy (Agnes) George who married John Scott on Aug. 2, 1828 in Franklin Co., IN This family is on the 1850 Census in Des Moines, Van Buren Co., Iowa with her father Benjamin living with them.

Mr. Scott died bef. 1854 as Nancy Scott married John Wood in Appanoose Co., IA.

I would like to hear from anyone researching this Benjamin George, daughter Nancy (Agnes) who married John Scott; then John Wood.

My husband's great ancestor, William George, II is a brother to Benjamin George. Will gladly exchange information.
