I have been looking for this marriage for a long time. I seriously doubt that it took place in Van Buren Co., or anywhere in Iowa for that matter. I think we need to find it in Indiana or Illinois, or possibly an adjoining state, but east of the Mississippi R. and possibly as far east as Virginia where I believe Sarah was born ca. 1809.
