SEEKING AN IFORMATION RELATED TO CAUSE OF DEATH FOR MY G GRANDMOTHER SARAH LUKE -DOD 1920- IS BURIED AT PURDOM. SHE WAS LISTED ON THE 1920 US CENSUS IN OTTUMWA WITH MY G GRANDFATEHER JOHN C. LUKE- HE AND MOST ALL OF HIS CHILDREN ARE ALSO AT PURDOM BUT SHE WAS NOT WITH THEM. AT THE TIME OF THE CENSUS THEY HAD AN INFANT WHO I TRACKED TO BEING RAISED BY HER BROTHER.

PER A OBIT ON ELIJAH LUKE, JOHN C.& CHILDREN WERE LIVING WITH ELIJAH AFTER THE THE DEATH OF HIS WIFE(SARAH). WHEN ELIJAH BECAME ILL HE MOVED TO TOWN WITH ONE OF HIS DAUGHTERS.
