Seeking further information concerning William Miller who married Margaret Ann (need surname). It has been rumored in the family that Margaret Ann may have been of American Indian descent. Can anyone give insight as to what her maiden name might have been and her location back then? William was born in Pennsylvania to Pennsylvania parents...the mother was Lydia (perhaps Elizabeth)who was born about 1790...Williams birth was April 1831, died 2/8/1907. I just found a photo of his head stone on Iowa GenWeb site. These are the parents of Sarah Ann Miller Bennett, wife of George Wesley Bennett. She was born 1859 in Iowa, died in Farmington 3/16/1916/
