Seeking info on parentage of Caroline BURGETT b. 1823. Caroline married Henry V. SMITH 1853 in Van Buren Co, IA.

1850 Caroline is living in hhold of brother, Peter BURGETT, age 40 b. NY. Peter's wife is Christina age 30 b. Mass and one dau Christina age 1(I think). Van Buren Co IA, Dw #59, p. 291A

Also on 1850 Census, Dw #62 is probably another brother, James BURGETT, age 35 b. NY, wf Caroline age 36, children Mary age 9, Sarah age 6 and Amanda age 1.

There is a Peter BURGETT on 1840 Van Buren Co IA Census b. 1790-1800, who I think is probably the father of Caroline, James & Peter.

If anyone has any info on this family, please let me hear from you.
