Maz Ruble was married to my great aunt Minnie Downing, I remember meeting them when I was little and stayed at the rock creek farm after they moved ( to Keokuk I think). The farm was purchased by Dr. Murphy who was Max's brother in law. In 1950 My Father Raymond Downing purchased the farm and sold it in 1963, I spent a lot of time there and also in
Bentonsport, Where in the early 1950,s my grandparents George And Zaida Downing were caretakers of the Mason House Hotel. I hav3 lots of info and will share.
