My search in Van Buren involves the FULLER line as follows:
George R. FULLER, b. CT abt 1824, and his wife Mary Luanda [HOWE] HATCH, b. abt 1822 CT, but more specifically, their son, James Elmer FULLER, b. 10 Oct 1852, Windham County, CT, d. 26 Jan 1942 [IA?], m. 30 Dec 1883 Mary Adell SHEETS, b. 05 Jun 1864 [IA?] d. [?], d/o John Jackson SHEETS and Mary Elizabeth BOTT.[If James' mother attended his wedding, and it was performed in Van Buren, a news article may produce info]

James could be key in locating info re father, George. 1870 MO, Yellow Creek Twp, LINN County census lists, among other family members, James Elmer and sister, Adeline Amanda FULLER. 1880 IA, Clarke County census lists James Elmer and widow mother, Mary L. George disappeared and remains in that status. James' sister Adeline Amanda [FULLER] HUNT remained in Linn County, MO, having married John Wesley HUNT in 1871. In Adeline's 1939 obit, it is stated that she is survived by a brother, Elmer, residing in Milton, Iowa. Until recently, it was thought that James Elmer had left Clarke County, and resided [continuously] in Wayne County. James could be key in locating information re his mother, Mary L.. Family and internet lore would have Mary L. marrying Jacob KLINE about 1899. Mary or Jacob have not been found in 1900 or subsequent census or other documents. An obit, or other document generated by James, or his children may uncover valuable information, some of which may be found in Van Buren County. Beatrice RANDALLl; Harley Elmer, b. 17 Jul 1889, d. 10 Nov 1950, m. abt 1916 Bessie M. BECKER; Jesse Royce, b. 20 Nov 1891, d. 10 Oct 1919 [WW I]; Claude Lewis, b. 1896, d. 09 Mar 1972, m. Ruth H. LONACRE; Gurney Howard, b 03 Jul 1900, d. 01 Mar 1915; Clarence Noble, b. 16 Sep 1903, d. 01 Nov 1975, m. Mattie Melissa YORK; Charles Arthur, b. 1905, d. abt 1968, m. Hazel I, HOPKINS; Mary Helen b. 30 Oct 1907, d. abt 1982, m. Guy C. HART. I do not know where births, deaths or burials occurred. Although James and Adeline had a 1/2 brother and brother, they were located in Clarke and Kossuth Counties and their records produced nothing. I would appreciate any assistance the list could provide.
