My husband is Donald Walter Long, grandson of Otto Jackson Long, also known as "Boone". His father is Otto Berlin Long. Don met Joe Workman while working in Ft Madison at Midwest Wax many years ago, in the mid sevenities.
Possibly your great grandmother was a sister to Rose Brill Long, wife of Boone. We live on the family farm, the Brill farm is just up the road. Carl & Clyde Brill are deceased, and I believe the sisters are gone too.
We would be happy to share any info we may have that would be of interest to you.
There are possibly three cemeteries in this area that might be of interest.
