I've been given to understand that his father is Phillip Yarnell born abt. 1760. There used to be a Rootsweb database up with some info but it is gone now, and I once corresponded with someone who was related to him through the family back in Ohio and who had will information but several years ago I lost a good bit of info to a computer crash. There is now another database with info on this Job and Phillip Yarnell, you might want to write them. He gives different parents for Phillip then I had recorded but it is certainly Job that he has there.

My interest is through another Yarnell. I believe Job to be somehow related to an Eli Yarnell born about 1790 in PA who married an unknown and is viewed in the 1840 Ohio Monroe Co. Enoch census. They had two female children, according to that census. I don't know what happened to one, but I know the other was an Esther born abt 1825 who married a William McKenney before 1846, in Monroe County Ohio. They then moved to Van Buren County Iowa with Eli.
I'm given to understand Philip Yarnell left a will and Job was mentioned but Eli was not so they wouldn't be brothers.
A Cyrus Bartow was uncle to the wife of another McKenney believed related, also moved from Ohio to Van Buren, and in 1860 Cyrus is living beside James and Harriet Lyons. It seems that James and Jane were siblings.
Would love to find out who Eli Yarnell was, who his wife was, and what happened to their other daughter.
