German Church in Farmington

I am in possession of a Confirmation certificate for a Karoline Schau. It is dated 24 April 1870 from an Evangelical Lutheran Church, St Johannis, in Farmington Iowa. Does anyone have any information or know where I could find infomation on their records. Thanks so much.
