My great great grandfather John Jacob McLain died in Pierecevillie ,Iowa. They say he fell into a cold river. And died of a death of cold.
No one knows where his marker is. Is there a McLain cemetery in Van Buren,Washington Township. The last U S Census we have on him was
in 1860 Iowa Van Buren Washington township.
