In Response To: Marriage application (Leslie Shuster)

Axctually my main question is: Was it a practice in 1888 for the VanBuren County Court house to list both the groom and bride's parents name on the application for marriage. I know that in the early 1900's this practice did exist, along with the birth State of the parents of both of the ones being married. Does any one know when this practice began or primarily if this pratice existed in 1888. Thanks again to anyone that may know the answer. Leslie Shuster
