I am seeking descendants of James and Elizabeth (Garber) SMITH. James was born in VA 4 May 1804 or 1806, died 8 March 1884 and is buried in the Lebanon Cemetery, Van Buren County, Iowa. Elizabeth (Garber) was also born in VA 9 or 10 Nov 1809, died in Iowa and buried in Lebanon Cemetery.
Their children were:
Benjamin Franklin, b. 19 Jan 1829 in VA
Sarah Francis, b. 5 Oct 1830 in VA
Thomas Jefferson, b. 24 Aug 1832 in VA
Andrew Jackson, b. 7 Sept 1834 in OH
Barbara Ann, b. 24 Feb 1837 in OH, believed to have married Theodore JENNINGS
Rebecca Jane, b. 16 April 1838, died in infancy
William Henry Harrison, b. 17 May 1840, m. 18 June 1868 to Rebecca Ann PENDERGAST, d. 10 July 1903 in Indianola, Warren Co., IA
Isaac Clay, b. 5 Aug 1842, died in infancy
Silas Taylor, b. 21 or 24 Feb 1847 in TN
John Clay, b.12 Jan 1848 in TN, believed to have married Emma STEVENS
Martha Tennessee, b. 18 July 1849 in TN, believed to have married Fleming McLEAN
Elizabeth Jane, b. 30 Oct 1852 in Jonesboro, TN, m. John W. SLATER, d. 10 Oct 1955 in CA

I am descended from William Henry Harrison SMITH, and would like to correspond with other descendants of James and Elizabeth.
