Fletcher/ Aylor/Minnich families 1882-1910..b?m?d?

FLETCHER, AYLOR, AYLER, MINNICH, MINNICK

I'll try to be succinct and specific, and apologies to any mailing list members if this is a repeat; I'm not sure if a list message was posted. I'm looking for information linking the families of Absolom Aylor of Pittsburg, 1880 census, Samuel Minnich/Minnick/Minic of Keosauqua, 1880, and Mary Minnich Fletcher + son William G. Fletcher, of Keokuk, Lee Co., IA, also of 1880.

The story: Philip L. Fletcher of Keokuk, Lee Co., died in 1882, leaving a widow, Mary Minnich Fletcher, and one child, William G. Fletcher. Mary is believed to have been either a sister or cousin to Samuel Minnich of Keosauqua, and it may be to that town that Philip's survivors moved after his death. Is there a death or cemetery record for Mary M. Fletcher in Van Buren Co., ca. 1885-1900? She may be buried with her brother/cousin.

Part two: William G. Fletcher next turned up on the 1920 census for Norton, KS. Living with him were one son, Lyle Fletcher, and a father-in-law, listed as Noah Aylor. William Fletcher is buried in Norton, and also in his plot is an Absolom M. (N?)Aylor. His listed age matches that of Absolom Aylor of Pittsburg, Van Buren Co., on the 1880 census. If this is so, did William G. Fletcher marry Aylor's daughter Maud, b. 1873 (William was born in 1850!), or another Aylor girl?

Both Aylor and Fletcher are listed as widowers in 1920. Son Lyle was born 1901/2, in IA. William Fletcher was born in MD, and both of his parents were born in PA. Any help with a relevant Van Buren marriage, birth, or death record, would be much appreciated. Further info suggests at least 2 older siblings for Lyle, both boys who died either during or from effects of WW1.
