I am looking for family of Herman S. Sellwood. My grandfather Malen Lensford was adopted by this family. In 1920 Census of Van Buren County, Iowa has the following info:

Herman S. SELLWOOD age 46 b:IND Farmer
Ellen M. / nee PARKER age 48 b:KY

**Malen L. / son / age 17 (name was changed to Malen LOUIS SELLWOOD) Malen was born in Clayton County Iowa to Lensford L. and Sarah ADAMS. (AUG. 06, 1902)

He was abandoned by his mother Sarah. Lensford took him to Ottumwa at the Homefinders Orphanage and Herman and Ellen PARKER SELLWOOD adopted him. He had a brother Charles and a sister Mabel.

**Francis H. SELLWOOD / male / son born IA age 14

*May have been from American Native Indian ancestry.
