Mormon Boy, Grave 1850

Benjamin P. Price born 11 Aug 1842 in Nauvoo, IL died 14 Oct. 1850. Records were found in SLC UT but the sexton record there reads "Rem. D Bonaparte Iowa." The "D" stands for the pauper part of the cemetery. His remains are not in SLC. Could they have been remove back to Bonaparte, Iowa? Can you help?
