I am looking for a reference describing Bentonsport Iowa in the 1840s. Jonathan Crosby and wife Caroline were Mormons living there from Nov 1846 to May 10 1848. He was a carpenter and housebuilder. Need confirmation that there are houses still standing built by Mormons.
