A Bereaved Family.

Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Meek, of Des Moines, are mourning the loss of their third daughter, Irene Estella. She died from congestion following the measles. Irene was born Nov. 28, 1889, in Bloomfield township, Polk county, Iowa, and died at the place of her nativity, March 28, 1893. He body was laid to rest in the Norwalk cemetery in Warren county, Iowa. L. C. Meek of this place and Rev. Barber of Selma, attended the funeral March 30, the latter conducting the services. Many friends of the family in this place tender their deepest sympathy to them in this their sad loss.
