Baldazzar Nauman was born in Germany, January 20, 1834, and died at St. Louis, Mo., March 24, 1908, being 74 years, 2 months, and four days old.
He was married in Germany in 1857 to Mary Elizabeth Manzel who preceded him in death eight years and six months. To this union 11 children were born, 10 of whom are still living. One son and two daughters reside in Germany. He is survived by ten children, twenty-three grandchildren and four sisters. Of the four sisters two live in Germany, one in Australia and one in Farmington.
He was connected with the German Lutheran church since childhood.
The funeral services were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emil Noske, in Bonaparte Thursday, April 2, the service being preached by Rev. A. Trenerry of the Baptist church. The remains were laid to rest in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
