Daniel Texter, a resident of Farmington aged about 78, died at his home there Saturday. Funeral services are to be held Tuesday. He has been in the shoe business there for many years, formerly being a shoemaker. He has been in an Odd Fellow for about fifty-five years, and when he celebrated his fiftieth year as a member of that order, was given a gold-medal. He leaves two sons and a daughter.
