Effie Harropp Ridgley.
Effie Harropp was born October 1, 1874, at Oakland, Van Buren county, Iowa, and died at her home in Missouri March 24, 1903.
She was the oldest child of Joseph and Euphemia Harropp. Effie's life, until the last year, was passed at Bonaparte where she has many friends who will grieve at her early death.
She gave her heart to God in the spring of 1896 and he same year became a member of the Methodist church at Bonaparte where she held her membership at the time of her death.
She was married June 30, 1901, to William Ridgly who survives. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn their loss a father and brother, the latter being a soldier in the U. S. army, also a half brother and sister, C. A. Giles of Leabanon and Mrs. C. F. Bingaman of Keosauqua.
