The deepest feeling was manifested in Vernon, Iowa, at the burial of Mrs. Rev. W. E. Patterson. At 2 o'clock p.m. the services were held by Rev. Dr. T. E. Corkhill, assisted by Revs. C.L. Stafford and J.W. Wright, all making very impressive remarks. Rev. J. Hunter read the scripture lessons. A very large audience accompanied the body to the grave.

Note: I do not know if this is an obituary for Rev. Patterson's wife or if she was the reverand.
