Mr. Albert Sturdivant died at Bonaparte at 10 o'clock Friday morning in a barber shop, where he had gone to get shaved. He had suffered from lung trouble for several years, but had been around all the time attending to business and looking after the feeding of his stock. Thursday he and his wife were out riding. About 10 o'clock Friday he went into the barber shop, leading his little daughter by the hand. He was almost immediately seized with a hemorrhage and died within three minutes. We understand the doctors attribute the attact to over exertion caused by the walk from his home to the barber shop.

The deceased was 42 years old. He was raised at Bonaparte. His business was buying and selling livestock. Within the past 18 months, his mother and sister had died of consumption, and his son was drowned in Honey creek. His own energy and courage which buyoyed him up so manfully in has many bereavements and his long affliction, are the marvel and admiration of all.

The deceased was held in the highest esteem by all who knew him. He leaves a small family in fairly good circumstances, and had $3000 insurance on his life. The funeral was held Saturday. May his dauntless spirit rest in peace.
