The following is taken is (sic) from The Highway.
Died-At Midnight Friday, June 26, 1885 (partially illegible) at her home near Bonaparte, Iowa, Maggie E. Miller aged 14 years 10 months and 22 days.
Sister Maggie was only sick a few days. Was converted last spring in our meetings at Bonaparte. She had a bright testimony of Jesus' saving power and was a devoted little christian at home where she will be missed by her parents and little brothers. Only a few months service for Jesus, and then gathered home. We had the privilege of leading her to the Savior and after her conversion she requested us to lead her into baptismal water, which we did, Sunday we were called upon to lay her away in the grave. Pray for her parents who are bereft of a loving child and for her brothers and sister who are called to mourn a sister's loss, that all may make her Savior their Savior. Aura Smith (author?)
