John Cline

John Cline was born March 14, 1851, and died July 29, 1906, aged fifty-five years, four months , and fifteen days.

He was first married to Mary Cullum Feb. 1, 1872. She died in 1877, and he was again married to Miss Clarinda Myers Nov. 5, 1879. To this union eight children were born, two of whom have preceded the father to the other world.

The widow and six children are left to mourn the loss of husband and father.

He has been a member of the Baptist church since early boyhood and at the time of his death was holding membership in the Bethlehem church of Clark county Mo.

He was born and raised near Bonaparte and lived until 1884 at which time he moved to near Chambersburg, Clark county, Mo., where he has since resided.
