DIED
Wednesday evening, April 28th Mrs. Margaret Hall, wife of Chas. L. Hall in the 52nd year of her age.
Mrs. Hall whose maiden name was Margaret A. E. Riggins, was born in Maryland January 10, 1832. She was married to Chas. L. Hall in that state in 1853 and they removed to Iowa the same year, settling at Keosauqua, where they continued to reside till 1867, when they came to this place where she has resided ever since.
Mrs. Hall was a kind, neighborly woman, ever ready to extend a helping hand to those of her acquaintance who needed it. She will be sadly missed in the community by her numerous friends and acquaintances. A loving wife, a kind and affectionate mother, her loss will be heavily felt by her bereaved family.
Mrs. Hall was the mother of four children, three of whom (Mrs. Henry Easling, Mrs. J. G. Whiteley and Chas. Hall) survive her as does her affectionate husband on whom her loss falls with great weight.
The funeral takes place from the family residence tomorrow at 1 o'clock.
