Anna Rebeccah M. Diedrich
Anna Rebeccah Margaret Diedrich was born July 6, 1861, at Wetzen, Hanover, Germany. At the age of five years she came with her parents to La Crosse, Wisconsin where they resided three years.
In 1869 they removed to Iowa, settling on a farm near Pierceville, where she resided until the time of her death July 18, 1907, age forty six years twelve days.
She had been a patient sufferer for nearly four years, her disease being consumption.
In her infancy, she was baptized in the Lutheran faith and was a consistent Christian all her life.
She leaves to mourn their loss, one sister Mary, who has faithfully cared for her in her long illness, two brothers, William C. of Maxwell, Neb., and Fred H. who resides on the home farm. Besides these she leaves many friends who will miss her cheerful presence.
Funeral services were held at Utica Sunday by Rev. Jones with interment in the Teal cemetery.
