Dell Hopkins Jordan.
The sad news has just been received here of the death of a former Bonaparte girl, Mrs. Jordan, best known as Dell Hopkins. She died Sept. 23 at a sanitarium near Los Angeles, Calfornia. She had convulsions, bursting a blood vessel of the lungs.
She was buried from her home in Los Angeles, California. The funeral was conducted by the Daughters of the American Revolution, assisted by a Pres. Minister.
Mrs. Jordon was a daughter of Mary and Jonathan Cresap, and the third child they have lost in less than two years. She was born in Bonaparte and spent most of her life here. Of her immediate relatives she leaves a daughter, husband, parents, living at Selma, and a brother and sister.
[year not given but position in scrapbook would suggest 1907]
