BATAVIA. J. F. COUNTRYMAN, 76, Batavia farmer, died Thurs. at Jefferson County Hospital. Burial Batavia Cemetery. Campbell Funeral Chapel.

Born Jan. 13, 1893, in Van Buren County, son of Noah and Clarinda STEPHENS COUNTRYMAN. He farmed near Batavia for 43 years. Married Verva (?) WELLMAN Dec. 22, 1915.

Surviving are widow; one son, William H. COUNTRYMAN, Albuquerque, N.M.; and three grandchildren; also a brother, Clyde COUNTRYMAN, Birmingham; and a sister, Mrs. Weltha WHITTEN, Denver. Colo. Member Batavia Methodist Church. A memorial to the Cancer Fund has been established by the family.
