EDNA A. LOGAN

Edna Ann Logan, daughter of Samuel C. and Frances Potter Hogue, was born August 22, 1884 near Keosauqua, Iowa, and passed away on July 27, 1972 at Van Buren Memorial Hospital where she had been five days, at the age of 87 years, 11 months and 5 days. She had resided at Holden Nursing Home the past 18 months.

She was married on February 25, 1914 to Emmett Logan and they resided in Iowa and Illinois until 1935 when they went to Idaho, later moving to Nevada, and returning to Iowa in 1957. Her husband passed away in 1959. They had no children.

She was a member of the Keosauqua Congregational Church and Women's Fellowship, and of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and two sisters. She was the last of her generation.

Survivors are nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Arnold J. Barker of Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 29 at Catcott Funeral Home with Rev. Millard Marshall in charge. Burial was in Fellows Cemetery.
