MRS. ARCH (ANNA) MCINTOSH

Mrs. Arch (Anna) McIntosh passed away New Years at a nursing home in Monmouth, Ill. at the age of 81. She and her first husband Otto Poling raised their four children in this community. He died in 1932. The children are Kenneth Poling of Ottumwa, Harold Poling of Kirkwood, Ill., Craig Poling of LaCrosse, Wisc. and Ilene Kelmeyer of Waterloo. Her second husband had passed away 10 years ago. The step children, Archie McIntosh and Gene of Kirkwood, Ill. and daughters Edna and Nova of near Waterloo. Two other step sons had preceded her in death, Marion and Theree. All of the children except Edna attended the funeral held in Kirkwood before the body was brought here for graveside services on Thursday afternoon. Many of the grandchildren were also present. One was Mrs. Charles Hamberg and husband from Farmington. Mrs. McIntosh, Mrs. Ethel Strait of Keosauqua were unable to attend but her son, Stanley Strait and wife did come for the graveside service. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Else of Stockport were here also. The ladies of the Methodist Church served coffee and cookies after the service here.

NOTE: Her name was Stella Anna but went by "Anna." Birthdate 21 Jun 1890 or 1891. I have more info.
