Mrs. Mary Edward ELY resided Harrisburg Twp. many years, died at home daughter, Mrs. Ambrose WARNER near Utice 10/27/1906 in 76th year of her age. Maiden name was EDWARDS, born in Hampshire Co., W. Virginia 2/9/1831. Married 10/24/1850 John W. Ely also native of W. Virginia and who died 15 years ago. 6 years after their married to Illinois and in 1869 to Van Buren County. Mother of 4 children: Robert E., Mt. Pleasant; B. Frank; J. Albert, Birmington and Annie I., wife of Ambrose WAINER, Washington Twp.
