Doris Medaris Batten

Doris Batten was born on October 21, 1909 in Clark County, Missouri, the daughter of George and Genevieve Marmion Medaris, and passed away March 13, 1991 at Davenport, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Theodore Batten, formerly of the Croton, Iowa community, and one brother, Stanley, of Farmngton.

Surviving are one daughter, Kayde Cadwell of La Jolla, California; three sons, Darrell of San Antonio, Texas, James of Davenport, and George Dennis (Buck) of De Witt; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Gladys Hasenclever of rural Fort Madison and two brothers, Forrest and Gene of Farmington.

Services were held March 16, 1991 at the Runge Mortuary in Davenport, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport.
