Adaline Vansagan 1866-1901

Adaline Exenia Vansagan was born at Sweet Home, Mo., Aug. 6, 1866 and died May 13, 1901, making her 34 years 9 months and 7 days old. She was left an orphan by the death of her mother when she was eight years of age. Soon after she went and made her home with Levi Zane until she was married to Mr. Fred Vansagan Oct. 15, 1885 who with two sons Lloyd and Elmer, remain to mourn her death. She was converted and united with the M. E. church in the winter of 1883, under the labors of Bro. Tenant, then pastor of the M. E. church. She claimed the blessing of entire sanctification in the winter of 1890 through the efforts of Bro. Beaty. Funeral was held at the home at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Wehn conducted the services.
