By The Associated PressAt least five people died on Iowa highways over the weekend, including two people killed Sunday afternoon in a head-on crash near Albia involving a stolen car, authorities said.
The victims were Mary Marie Johnson, 67, of Mystic, and William H. Jenkins, 28, a resident of the Albia Care Center, a halfway house in which he resided for several years. He was apparently the driver of a car stolen from the care center's parking lot shortly before the accident.
Sheriff's officials said cars collided as Jenkins was attempting to pass several other cars.

Jenkins was the son of Lucille Donart Jenkins Cole of Birmingham and Alvin Jenkins of Pampa, Texas. He was born Oct. 15, 1061, in Paola, Kan. He is survived by four brothers, Ernest of Des Moines, David of Mount Sterling, Thomas of Keosauqua and Timothy of Pampa; two sisters, Katherine Daley and Betty Lockwood, both of Fairfield; and a grandmother Marie Donart of Cottonwood Falls, Kan.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Pittsburg Cemetery. Visitation is open beginning Tuesday morning. Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home.
