David John Walton, 26, Bonaparte, manager of the State Central Bank's Bonaparte and Stockport offices, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 1990 at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
Mr. Walton had suffered an apparent cerebral hemorrhage. He was found in this Bonaparte apartment Saturday morning.
He was born December 1, 1963 at Fort Madison. Formerly of Farmington, he graduated from Central College, Pella, and had lived in Bonaparte two years. He was a member of the Farmington Actioneers(sp), the Farmington United Methodist Church, the Bonaparte Main Street organization, and Theta Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Surviving are his parents, Donald and Karen Homolar Walton, Farmington; two brothers, Greg of Madrid and Charles of Farmington; a sister, Marla Walton, Farmington; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Homolar, Elberon, Iowa.
Services were held Tuesday, June 19, 1990 at the Farmington United Methodist Church with Reverend Fred Malone officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery.

Memorials are being established with the Farmington United Methodist Church and the Bonaparte First Responders. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
