Frona I. Van Weelden

Frona I. Van Weelden, daughter of Henry and Nellie Benge Wolver, was born November 30, 1906 near Harvey, Iowa and departed this life the morning of Thursday, March 22, 1990, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua, at the age of 83.

She married Herman Van Weelden September 13, 1924. Mr. Van Weelden died March 28, 1988.

They lived in Marion County, many years in Pella and in Keosauqua. Mrs. Van Weelden entered Van Buren Good Samartian Center in August, 1986. She had attended the Berean Baptist Church in Pella.

Remaining to cherish her memory are two daughters, Louise Terlouw and her husband, Lester "Buck" and Doris Humble and her husband, Jerry, all of Cantril, a daughter-in-law, Margaret Van Weelden, McFarland, Wisconsin, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A son, John Dale, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24, 1990 at 10 A.M. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Larry Terlouw and Rev. Lester Terlouw officiating. Interment was in Fellows Cemetery, Keosauqua.

A memorial was established for Van Buren Good Samaritan.

A memorial service was held during the morning chapel service at the Good Samaritan Center Monday, March 26.
