Raymond Collett

Raymond Collett, was born June 5, 1902 in Richland, Iowa, the son of Kattie Collett. He attended Fairfield rural school No. 10.

He married Sarah Jameson April 8, 1939 in Fairfield, Iowa. They moved to the Williamsburg area in 1994, working at various jobs and at the Landmark for 10 years. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, and passed away May 11, 1989 at the age of 87.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Lemira, three daughters, Evelyn Hudson, Wellman, Beverly Ann Van Dee, Cedar Rapids, Wanda Lee Van Dee, Marion, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two half sisters, Mildred Ramsey, Birmingham, Alice Hootman, Webster, one half brother, Robert Lovedy, Ft. Madison and a sister-in-law, Margaret Lovedy, Birmingham.
