Bernard J. Holcomb, 63, of Camarillo, California died Monday, April 24, 1989 at St. John's Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
He was born February 4, 1926 in Douds, Iowa and lived in Ventura County for 30 years.
He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Litton Management Club.
Survivors include his mother, Estelle of Camarillo; fiance, Marie Mattson of Camarillo; sons Jeff of Davis, Bill of Moorpark, Brad of Camrillo; sisters Viva Streed of San Diego, Martella Major of Lovilia, Iowa, Marlene Akers of Camarillo; brothers Dwight of Portland, Oregon, Robert of Camarillo; and two grandchildren.
Services were held April 27, 1989 at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park Cemetery with Edwin Girod of Trinity Presbyterian Church officiating. There was to be a private inurnment.
