Mrs. Stella Saar

Dr. J.L. Saar and his brother, Hollis S. Saar of Cantril have rturned home from Ontario, Calif., where they attended the funeral services of their mother, Mrs. Stella Saar.

Mrs. Saar passed away in her home in Ontario Monday, Dec. 6 (1948) at the age of 80 years. Funeral services were held there Wednesday, Dec. 8, with burial at Glendale.

Other children surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Bernice Harbridge and Mrs. Glen Harbridge of Ontario, Mrs. R.B. McComb, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Raymond B. Roundtree, Gendale, Calif., and Mrs. Robert Smythe, Fort Dodge; a sister, Tessie Bennett who lived with Mrs. Saaar; and a brother, N.N. Bennett of Burlington; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Saar, in August of this year.
