Mary F. Randolph, daughter of Earl and Goldie Davis Housholder, was born February 3, 1908 near Bonaparte and died Wednesday afternoon, April 13, 1988 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center, Keosauqua at the age of 80.
She lived her entire life in the Bonaparte-Harrisburg community, and was a member of Bonaparte Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star and Rebekahs at Bonaparte and the Harrisburg Mission Circle.
On May 24, 1925 she married Orville Jacob Randolph at Farmington. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Charles of Bonaparte and Stanley of Huntsville, Alabama; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a brother, Stanley Housholder, Dubois, Idaho.
A son, John H. Randolph and two brothers, Travis and Frank Housholder, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 16, 1988 at Bonaparte United Church with Reverend James Rozendaal officiating. Interment was in Dibble Cemetery southeast of Stockport. Eastern Star services were held on Friday evening. Memorials were established for the Bonaparte United Church and the Van Buren Good Samaritan Center van fund.
